Kids’ travel bag reviews, by type
Backpacks, luggage, carry-ons, duffels and the small bags that go inside them, each reviewed from the manufacturer’s published specifications — dimensions, litres, weight, materials, straps and wheels, and the airline and school limits they have to fit. We do not pack, carry or travel with the bags we review, and every review says so.
Or answer four questions and let the kids’ bag finder narrow them down.

Carry-on & rolling bags
Rolling backpacks and cabin bags: airline size limits, spinner against inline wheels, and empty weight.
Duffel, sleepover & tote bags
Soft bags for a night away or a week at camp: litres, opening, straps and what the fabric survives.
Toiletry, lunch & small travel bags
Toiletry bags, lunch bags, packing cubes and pouches: what they hold and whether they wipe clean.
