About Tiny Traveler Hub
Tiny Traveler Hub publishes reviews of kids’ backpacks, luggage, carry-ons, duffels and small travel bags, written from the manufacturer’s own published specifications and documentation. We do not pack, carry or travel with the bags we review, and every review says so.
What this site is
A bag listing gives you a height, a width and a depth, a capacity in litres, a weight, a fabric, and a list of pockets and straps, and leaves you to work out whether any of it matters for the child who will carry it. The reviews here take one bag at a time and read those numbers for what they imply: whether a 16-inch backpack swamps a five-year-old, whether an 18-inch suitcase clears an airline’s cabin limit, whether a 600-denier polyester survives a school year, whether a duffel’s 40 litres is a sleepover or a fortnight.
The site covers kids backpacks, kids luggage & suitcases, carry-on & rolling, duffel, sleepover & tote and toiletry, lunch & small travel bags. Each review sits in one of those categories, and the categories are what the navigation is built around.
What we do not do
We do not pack bags, weigh them loaded, put them through an overhead bin, drag them across an airport or send them to school. No bag described here has left a warehouse for us. A review on this site is a reading of what the manufacturer publishes, written for someone choosing a bag for a particular child and a particular trip, and we would rather say that plainly than imply hands-on experience we do not have.
We do not publish star ratings, review counts, or exact prices. Where a manufacturer has not published a specification, a review says so instead of guessing.
Who writes this
Liam Foster, Editor, is the byline on every review. Liam is an editorial name rather than a person you could look up, and we would rather say so than let a fabricated biography do work it has not earned. There are no trade credentials behind it, and there should not be: a site that states on every page that it does not travel with bags has no business presenting an expert as its author.
What stands behind a review is the method, which is written down, and the manufacturer’s published figures, which you can check.
What changed in 2026
For its first year this site reviewed whatever appeared under a kids’ travel search, which meant luggage tags, suitcase covers, handle wraps and headphones were reviewed alongside the bags. In September 2026 we went through all 1,165 pages and removed 105 from search — luggage tags and covers, handle wraps, straps and locks, headphones, an umbrella and other things that are carried in a bag rather than being one. The 1060 pages that remain are bags. The removed pages still exist for anyone who arrives at them, but they are no longer what this site is about and we no longer ask search engines to index them.

- Kids backpacks — A backpack is sold by a character on the front and bought, if it is bought well, by the height on the spec sheet.
- Kids luggage & suitcases — A child’s suitcase is a small case a child can pull, and sometimes sit on.
How the site is funded
Links to Amazon on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one we earn a commission at no cost to you. The affiliate disclosure explains what that does and does not influence.
Corrections
If a specification in a review is wrong — the manufacturer restated it, the listing changed, or we misread it — it is worth more to us to know than to look right. The contact page says what makes a correction actionable.
